Terms of use & engagement.
The ground rules for using this site and for working together. Kept short and readable on purpose.
Last updated: August 2026
1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of the IPCare360 website. Any specific engagement is also subject to the scope confirmation, quotation, or written agreement issued for that engagement, which prevails if it conflicts with anything here.
2. Non-legal services
IPCare360 provides non-legal technical and analytical support only. It is not a law firm and gives no legal advice; no attorney–client relationship is created. Please read the disclaimer in full — it forms part of these terms.
3. How an engagement works
- You send a brief; I confirm the scope, deliverables, timeline and price in writing before work begins.
- An NDA and conflict-clearance can be put in place before any confidential disclosure.
- Work proceeds only once scope and price are agreed. You are not committed by sending an enquiry.
4. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate, complete information and any materials needed to do the work.
- Ensure you have the right to share any documents or data you provide.
- Have a qualified attorney or agent make all legal determinations and decisions based on the deliverable.
5. Deliverables and use
On full payment for an engagement, you may use the deliverable for your own and your client's internal and professional purposes. Deliverables are working research products and are provided without warranty that the underlying search is exhaustive (see the disclaimer). I retain the right to reuse general skills, methods and know-how — never your confidential matter information.
6. Confidentiality
Information you share for an engagement is kept confidential, used only for that engagement, and not disclosed to or reused for any other client. Where an NDA is signed, its terms govern. I expect the same care in return for any of my templates or methods you are given sight of.
7. Fees and payment
Fees are quoted per matter before work starts and are kept deliberately affordable; there is no posted price list because the work varies. Refunds and revisions are covered by the refund & revisions policy. Currency, invoicing and payment method are agreed per engagement.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, liability arising from the website or any engagement is limited to the fees paid for the engagement in question, and no liability is accepted for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions taken in reliance on a deliverable. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Intellectual property in the site
The text, design and branding of this website belong to IPCare360 and may not be copied or reused without permission.
10. Changes and governing approach
These terms may be updated from time to time; the date above reflects the latest version. Any dispute will first be approached in good faith through direct discussion. The governing law and forum for a paid engagement are as set out in that engagement's agreement.
